Kagofero is a very unusual gorilla. You can’t see from the pictures that we have of her but two of the toes on her left foot are fused together, so both her gait and her appearance are distinctive.
Her personality is also remarkable. The Rangers describe her as a kleptomaniac - if ever she can get hold of any of their kit, she will take it and climb into a tree with it.
Kagofero would have tree sons; But Baraka in 1999 disappeared into the forest when and has not been seen since. Sebagabo Who was born in 05/06/2004.and Buzara the last one, born in 2008.
